Middle Eastern investors are investing in properties all over the globe with the region forecasted to invest $180 billion in global property markets within the next 10 years. Europe seems to be the main attraction for Middle Eastern investors as 90% of real estate investment outside of the Middle East was in Europe in 2013. This trend is expected to continue for the next decade as Middle East investors are expected to pump $145 billion into the European real estate market.

Out of the European real estate market the U.K is the most
attractive to Middle Eastern investors as $85 billion will be invested into the
U.K and $60 billion will be invested into the rest of Europe’s real estate
market in the next 10 years. Majority of Middle Eastern investors are long-term
players looking for high income producing assets in the real estate market
rather than short-term gains.
Abu Dhabi is the best market in the Middle East in terms of financial strength of the real estate players. The region alone is expected to invest $81 billion into the real estate market by 2030. Abu Dhabi has the world’s wealthiest sovereign wealth fund and they are mainly focused on British and European real estate investments. Abu Dhabi’s real estate market has been under supplied which provides British and European property owners the perfect opportunity to sell and market their properties successfully in the region.
